Frequently Asked Questions

Dr. Sita-Molz offers individual  therapy and couples therapy sessions for a variety of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. She is a licensed psychologist in the state of New York and Pennsylvania.

Dr. Sita-Molz is only accepting new clients for telehealth sessions at this time. 

 The initial session is 60 minutes. Thereafter, sessions are typically 45 minutes long.

Sessions are $200.  The initial session may sometimes require more time (60 minutes) to collect information about your history. In the case of a 60 min session, the cost is $225.

I also work with clients as an out-of-network provider. In these cases, I can assist you in determining the out-of-network benefits of your specific plan and submitting paperwork to your insurance company on your behalf. 

Telehealth sessions are conducted using a video-based, HIPPA complaint portal. The sessions are not recorded (and may not be recorded by either party unless explicit permission is given first). Information discussed in the sessions is kept confidential in the same way they would be in a traditional office visit.

Dr. Sita-Molz is bound by the ethics of the psychology profession to keep the details on her sessions confidential. The exceptions to this rule are if the discussion including information that presented an imminent threat to the client or someone else, or if the therapist is subpoenaed in court. 

Clients are required to have internet connectivity and a camera to participate in the session. For emergency purposes, Dr. Sita-Molz will ask to know the physical location of her clients during the session. This location should be relatively private and free from distractions. Clients should not be in locations in which others can see their computer, or hear the conversation. Clients may chose to participate in a session while in their car, but cannot be driving.
